When used with the small oval insert which comes with the
stuffin you will have a total of 7 layers of hemp fleece in the
desired wet zone for your child. You may place multiple
small ovals into the pocket for added protection in the wet
zone without the added bulk through out the diaper.

One of the most frequently asked questions: Will the insert
slip if only placed in half way? The answer is NO. The small
oval insert will stay in place. Simply place the small oval
insert in all the way into the pocket for a front wetter or just
slide halfway into the pocket for a middle wetter.

Our Experience

If you take a look at our absorbency ratings, Stuffins rank
as one of the best! This explains why they work so well
for us and are one of our favorites! Because the middle
oval separates from the rest of the insert, these dry more
quickly than other hemp inserts, but are still super
absorbent. They work perfectly for any pocket diaper.
They are softer than other hemp inserts we've tried.

General Care

After these inserts have been primed (see below), wash
with your other diapers.

How to prepare for first use

We recommend washing and drying these inserts four
times before using for the first time (that's wash - dry -
wash - dry - wash - dry - wash - dry). Unbleached hemp
has natural oils in it that need to be removed before it
becomes absorbent. It will take five or more washings
before it reaches its maximum absorbency.

When washing these inserts the first few times do NOT
wash it with your fleece products (like Happy Heiny's or
Fuzzi Bunz). The natural oils from the hemp will coat the
fleece, making it repel. After your inserts have been fully
primed you may wash them with all of your diapering
products.
