Prorap Classic covers are the top rated cover at Diaper
Pin for so many reasons!  These diaper covers have
wonderfully designed double gussets that keep
explosive messes contained, are stretchy, durable and
affordable!  They are used by many cloth diaper
services and are made to withstand industrial washing
and drying.

Are you looking for a cover that truly fits a newborn?
The Newborn Prorap Classic is it!  They have great
features for a newborn: a cutout for the sensitive
umbilical cord area to aid in healing, double gussets
that work really well at keeping runny newborn messes
contained, and easy velcro tabs that give a great fit for
any baby.  The newborn size fits perfectly over a
Kissaluvs Size 0 fitted diaper.

Our Experience

There are two things that make this our favorite
newborn cover:  it
truly fits newborns and its double
gussets are great at containing runny newborn messes
(we never had a blowout with this cover)!  Combine this
cover with a Kissaluvs Size 0, and you have a winning
combination!  Of course, it also fits over a prefold!  Keep
in mind that because this cover does fit a newborn so
well, it may only last the first few weeks.  The larger
sizes keep messes in just as well as the newborn size.
These covers are plasticky on the inside, unlike a
Bummis or Bumpy cover.

Note: For babies who are truly very large babies (for
example, Jillian was 20 lbs at 4 months), these covers
may leave red marks on your baby's thighs and back as
they approach the weight limit... you may need to move
into the next size range early or want to consider a
Bumpy Night cover.
