About the Fabric
Outer layers are 100% unbleached sherpa cotton with a base comprised of 90% unbleached cotton and 10% polyester. Only soft, unbleached cotton touches your baby's skin. Three hidden layers of unbleached terry cotton for Small - Large sizes. Newborn size has two hidden layers of unbleached terry cotton. Sherpa cotton is the same as fleece cotton - it is cotton that has been combed to make it exremely soft and thick. Over time it will become more dense, the same way bath towels do.

Our Experience
These diapers are extremely soft, thick, and absorbent. They are made of the same great fabric as Kissaluvs, but have a more full cut, longer rise, and are more absorbent. If you have a smaller baby, prefer a more snug fit, want a narrower diaper, or prefer a shorter rise, then we recommend Kissaluvs. If you have a larger baby, want a longer rise, or want more absorbency without a doubler, we recommend a Heiny Hugger. We recommend measuring your baby's rise and look at our sizing charts to see which diaper will fit best. Both are great diapers, and we recommend trying both out before deciding on one!
Heiny Huggers do have more snap failures than Kissaluvs. Snap failures are covered by the manufacturer, but Kissaluvs rarely have snap failures while some batches of Heiny Huggers have several snap failures.
