This is a specially padded and shaped cushion that fits into the
New Generation ERGO baby carrier when worn on the front.  It
can be quickly and easily placed in the carrier and be readjusted
or folded to pad just the right places for your infant. The baby is
then cradled in a cozy, protected environment close to your
heart.  It is also a perfect position for breastfeeding.

It is believed that the sling position is the best for your baby’s
physical develop for the first several months. The ERGO Baby
Carrier with Infant Insert, cradles your baby in just this position.
Both legs remain together to one side, the head leans to the
other side with the baby's bottom centered in the middle of the
carrier.
