Choosing an Insert
When using a pocket diaper, such as a Fuzzi Bunz or a Happy Heiny, you need to choose an insert.  The
insert is the absorbent part of the diaper, and therefore which kind you choose will affect the diaper's
performance.  We know this can become confusing!  Here are some helpful tips:
There are four factors in choosing an insert:
cost, absorbency, trimness, and drying time

More expensive inserts do not always add more absorbency, but are trimmer.
Hemp is the most absorbent insert for the thickness, followed by a microfiber insert.
Microfiber inserts dry more quickly than hemp inserts.
Getting dizzy with all your insert options?
Then just try 1 Cotton Babies for day use and 2 Cotton Babies for night use!

Plus they're one-size... they'll fit your newborn
and your toddler!
Recommendations
Here are some recommendations for possible inserts for day and night use depending on whether
your baby is a light, medium, or heavy wetter.  Older babies and toddlers tend to be heavier wetters.
Babies that nurse through the night tend to be heavy night wetters.
Not sure how heavy your baby or toddler wets?
