There are four factors in choosing an insert: cost, absorbency, trimness, and drying time
More expensive inserts do not always add more absorbency, but are trimmer. Hemp is the most absorbent insert for the thickness, followed by a microfiber insert. Microfiber inserts dry more quickly than hemp inserts.
