What makes the My Brest Friend Twins Plus Pillow so popular:
- Adjustable fit for most sizes

- Baby soft, plush cover
- Adjustable back support
- Secure wrap around design
Why Breastfeed Twins Together? There are many reasons to consider breastfeeding your twins simultaneously including:
- Save time: Breastfeeding two babies at a time is
usually faster than breastfeeding one baby after the other. Timesaving
strategies are crucial when feeding two babies the typical 8-12 times a
day.
- More milk: Research has demonstrated when mothers
of twins breastfeed simultaneously, they have a higher prolactin level
than if they breastfeed their babies one after the other. Prolactin is
the key hormone responsible for signaling milk production, so more
prolactin may mean more milk.
- Logistics: It is very difficult to bottle feed two
babies at a time but with the help of the My Brest Friend Twins Plus
Feeding pillow, both babies can receive your attention at once.

How Do I Breastfeed Twins At the Same Time? Many women, especially first time mothers, find it helpful to learn how
to breastfeed one baby at a time until they feel comfortable with how
to latch the babies well. This may take a few days or a week but once
you feel skilled at bringing one baby to the breast, you are ready to
try tandem feeding.
Common Positions for Simultaneous Feeds
There are many possible positions for simultaneous twin breastfeeding but here are the most popular three positions:
- 1. Double football/clutchThis is the most popular position, especially for small and young
babies. Both babies are at your sides with their legs under your arms
and their heads supported by your hands.
- 2. Double cradle with overlapping legsPosition the first baby in a cradle hold, with his head in the crook of
your elbow. Bring the second baby up to your other breast, cradling him
in the crook of your other elbow. Cross their legs over each other so
they both rest comfortably on the pillow.
- 3. Combination of football and cradle holdSome women find feeding one baby in the football hold and the other in
cradle helpful, especially if one baby prefers one position or the
other. Position the baby in football hold first, and then bring the
second baby up in a cradle hold.
Which Baby Goes on First?
- Most moms find it easiest to latch the baby that needs the most help
first. This strategy allows you to use both hands to help the less
vigorous nurser latch deeply. Once latched, the twin pillow will
support the first baby so you can reach over, pick up, and latch the
second baby onto the second breast.
Which Baby Feeds on Which Breast?
- Most experts recommend alternating each baby on each breast every other
feed or at least every other day. Alternating breasts encourages equal
stimulation of milk production, especially if you have one baby who is
a more vigorous nurser than the other.
How Long Should The Twins Feed? What About Burping?
- Most twins nurse anywhere from 20-45 minutes for each feed. Depending
on their weight and age, the feeding may be shorter or longer. It is
usually helpful to take each baby off halfway through the feeding and
sit them up on the pillow to burp. Once burped, return him to the same
breast he was on and burp his sibling.

About My Brest Friend
Our Story Imagine the year is 1994 and you have a new baby.
Together, you and your newborn will clock over 1,000 hours together at the
breast. You look around for something to help you and your baby get positioned
comfortably for this special time of togetherness, but find very limited
options. You try:
- a bed pillow
- a U-shaped play pillow
- a large teddy bear
- a rolled-up towel
- a sofa cushion
Amazing as it seems, these were the choices available to
new moms just 13 years ago. None of these choices stayed in place, and when
Moms moved, babies often lost their feeding latch. So mothers would try to stay
frozen in place for the whole feeding, which left them sore and uncomfortable.
We know because that's where we came in.
The first pillow specifically designed for breastfeeding
My BrestFriend was developed in a "laboratory" of new moms, babies, and
breastfeeding
experts who set out to do what no one had done before: create a pillow
whose
sole purpose was to answer all the needs of breastfeeding moms and
babies.
Spearheading the effort was inventor Andrew Zenoff, a bachelor who
proved that
sometimes the best ideas come from those who have just enough distance
from a
problem to imagine solutions that have never been considered before.
First, Andrew and his team compiled a list of every
complaint breastfeeding moms could think of with the existing pillows. The list
ranged from lower back pain due to improper support, to poor latch-on, to
babies "rolling" inward or away during the feeding due to using U-shaped
pillows. This began a lengthy cycle of design and test, followed by redesign
and retest until we had built over 50 prototypes in a single year. We poked,
prodded, raised, lowered, tightened, loosened, shifted and adorned until, at
last, we had a pillow that our mom testers loved so much, they couldn't find a
single way to improve upon it. Then, and only then, did we introduce My Brest Friend to mothers
everywhere.
12 years later: the pillow loved around the world Today, My BrestFriend's patented, wrap-around design has made fans in over 20 countries where
it is sold, as well as being used in hundreds of NIC units and birthing
hospitals. It is the #1 choice of lactation consultants, is sold by La Leche
League, and consistently earns raves among nursing mothers, many of whom tell
us our pillow has helped them achieve longer holding and feeding cycles with
their babies. My BrestFriend has helped over 1,000,000 moms breastfeed their babies. Our stylish new
prints and fabrics make My BrestFriend the perfect item to register for or give as a gift.

FAQ
What should I do with my pillow when I am done breastfeeding? Because
of the personal nature of this product, we recommend not passing it
along to other mothers. You can place your My Brest Friend pillow with
your other recyclables. Some moms use My Brest Friend as a support
for their own activities like sewing, etc., and some use it as a play
pillow for their baby learning to sit up.
What if I have a problem with my pillow or slipcover? We
stand behind all our products with a one-year warranty. Please contact
us and we'll do our best to take care of any problems.
Can I use My Brest Friend to nurse twins? Yes!
Many mothers use My Brest Friend to nurse twins. As long as the babies
are small enough to fit onto the pillow, this should work well for all
three of you.
What are the two bumps on one side of the pillow surface? These
are called feeding risers and they raise the baby's head just a bit,
aiding ingestion and digestion. We incorporated this feature into our
design based upon the recommendations of lactation consultants.
I just gave birth and My Brest Friend doesn't seem to fit - why? Within
the first week of giving birth, a woman's uterus continues to be
enlarged. As your uterus begins to shrink over the course of the first
week postpartum, the pillow should begin to fit more comfortably.
