Green Goop is nothing short of a miracle! In the first days and weeks of nursing our daughter, I experienced not only sore, but cracked and bleeding nipples - despite a perfect latch. At one point, after I had used up the last of my Green Goop, our nurse midwife made a midnight run for more, scraping out what was left at the bottom of jars at the birth center! She returned with about a tablespoon's worth, and oh, what sweet relief it was! While Lansinoh helped reduce the pain, I felt it was the Green Goop that really did the healing - which really makes sense if you consider all of its healing ingredients. Because of my experience, I feel that every new mom should have some of this salve on hand. And if you end up not needing it, then even better! Remember it has many other great uses, too!
