About NuzzleMe Creations
NuzzleMe Creations was created by a Stay-At-Home-Dad, Tim
Martin. Tim chose a SAH life in 2009 in
order to spend more time with his family and help to raise his three children
after having a busy and hectic work schedule for many years. Tim and his wife, Amy, are babywearing
addicts and strongly believe that babywearing creates a strong parent/child
bond.
How it started While wearing their son, Benjamin, in a store bought carrier
in 2009, Amy asked Tim to ‘whip her up something’ to stop Ben from destroying
the straps of their carriers from drool and chewing. Tim made a beautiful set of strap covers that
caught the attention of many fellow babywearers. His new and much unexpected, business quickly
took off.
Not long after, Tim quickly became a huge fan of ‘wearing’
their son and the bond that it created.
The long walks together, hiking, singing and talking... He soon realized he needed a ‘Manly’
carrier. One with all the bells and
whistles…one containing all the conveniences that no other carrier could
provide. He quickly went to his sewing
machine and got to work at the kitchen table.
After many (many) late nights, it was created. The Ultimate MAN Carrier. Cup holsters, loops, hooks, pockets, matching
strap covers, a padded headrest, a detachable hood, extra long padded straps
and waist, reversible -with different decorative fabrics on each side, etc,
etc. After the catching the attention of
women also, Tim quickly adjusted his carrier’s name to the Ultimate MAN/MAMA
Carrier!
Tim has now opened up a whole new world of child carriers
with more accessories and attachments than any other carrier available on the
market. He is also currently experimenting
with other universal products for carriers.
Tim is also proud to have a ‘green’ company. While being in business almost a year, he has
less than one gallon sized trash can of waste.
His packaging is all re-usable; whether the items come with a ribbon
wrapped around them or they are packaged in a reusable cloth bag. There is nothing to throw away when you
‘open’ one of his items!
