In 2001, Baby Banz, Inc. found its start in "the land down under," one of the harshest UV climates in the world. One Australian’s fruitless search for a proper pair of baby sunglasses for his infant son forced him to take action, leading to the development of the Original Baby Banz sunglasses. 
First introduced to the American market in 2002, Baby Banz are best known for their unique wrap-around, banded design and 100% UV protective lenses. Often imitated, but never duplicated, Baby Banz continue to be the standard for baby and children's sunglasses and UV protection worldwide.

Baby Banz are the keystone for the expanding Baby Banz Protection Collection that includes: adjustable baby and toddler sun hats, UPF 50 swimwear and flap hats, our cool new Retro Banz and for winter, mirrored Ski Banz. Baby Banz sells its Protection Collection line nationwide in a variety of outlets including optical and specialty baby stores. 
Baby Banz has not only made a name for itself in the United States, but across the globe as Baby Banz products can be found in countries including as South Africa, Japan, Germany, China, Greece, Switzerland, France and England to name a few. The Baby Banz US headquarters and shipping warehouse is located in Missouri with corporate offices in Australia.

What is the UV protection of Banz Sun Hatz?

Baby Banz Sun Hatz are the best in the market for protection and breathability. Our Hatz are made of 100% Cotton/100% Polyester and offer UPF protection of 50+. Others’ hats made of synthetic materials do a good job of keeping the sun off, but make the head hot because they don’t let air in and under the hat. And as most parents know, if the hat is comfortable, it is more likely to stay on little heads!
