About STOKKE
STOKKE : We are Earth Friendly Company
We
are all concerned for our environment and the effects that our actions
have upon it. In today's modern world, caring for our children means
much more than providing them with safety, comfort, and protection.
Caring for our children also means caring for the planet which they
will inherit.
LONGEVITY : TRIPP TRAPP from STOKKE® has protected the environment for 35 years. Perhaps the least discussed
and most neglected topic in relation to the environment is the
longevity of products. Longevity is most often neglected because it is
perhaps the hardest criteria for any product to achieve.
BEECH WOOD : Only
beech wood grown and harvested in the beech wood belt of Eastern Europe
is used as the source material in the making of all our wooden
products. Each tree is cultivated in a natural and balanced process,
where stocks are fully replenished from new seedlings which grow from
fallen beech nuts.
VARNISH : They are formaldehyde
free. Complying with all international standards, the varnish is not
only safe for your child, but safe for the environment.
TEXTILES : Each textile fabric used in our TRIPP TRAPP high chair, SLEEPI crib, and CARE changing table products complies
with the Tex-textiles seal of approval. The Tex standard 100 is the
world's leading eco label for textiles, providing the international
standard on safety.
PLASTICS : All plastic parts contained in the TRIPP TRAPP® Baby set and 5-point safety harness can be recycled. As we continue to
develop and employ new plastics and materials, and as recycling
technologies continue to improve, the XPLORY®stroller not only exceeds all stroller safety standards, but moves ever
closer to surpassing our environmental ambitions. All XPLORY® plastics parts are marked for future recycling, re-use, and handling. A VISION, A MISSION, A GOAL : In
the modern world of consumerism, disposal, and commodity, we are
committed to creating products of the highest values. Products designed
not only for you and your child, but for your children's children, and
generations to come.
