All Sugar Peas covers are made with a set of snaps to pop this little semi-fitted diaper into so they can be put on your wiggly baby in one simple step. This diaper also works well in many other diaper covers as a lay in contour diaper. Made entirely of 55% hemp/45% organic cotton fleece. They now feature a built-in fold out soaker for ease of use and faster washing and drying! Elastic at the legs and back for a snug fit and to help keep messes in. General Care
After these hemp inserts have been primed (see below), wash as you would your regular diapers.

How to prepare for first use
We recommend washing and drying these inserts four times before using for the first time (that's wash - dry - wash - dry - wash - dry - wash - dry). Hemp has natural oils in it that need to be removed before it becomes absorbent. It will take eight or more washings before it reaches its maximum absorbency.
When washing your hemp the first few times do NOT wash it with your fleece products (like Happy Heiny's or Fuzzi Bunz). The oils from the hemp will coat the fleece, making it repel liquid. After your hemp has been fully primed you may wash it with all of your diapering products.

Our Experience
Oh my goodness, we love the new All In One system created by pairing up one of these Sugar Peas Snap-In Diapers with a Sugar Peas wool or fleece cover! The fit is a little bulky (meaning more bulky than a pocket diaper, like a Fuzzi Bunz or bumGenius!, but similar to a fitted diaper with a cover or a prefold with a cover), but it is completely breathable! The big advantage is that you can choose either cover to avoid polyurethane laminate used in most waterproof covers. Choose a wool cover for a completely natural, but easy to use diapering system. Choose fleece for an easy to wash, maintenance-free system that is leak-proof. These also make wonderful night time diapers, with either a fleece or wool cover. The fleece/hemp is buttery soft.
