Besides choosing high quality products that work well, we also feel it's important to support moms and their babies, living wages, and the environment. Here are a few businesses we work with and why we choose to work with them:
|
Kissaluvs
Kissaluvs makes great fitted diapers, wipes, and more! They are a small, family owned and operated business where their young daughter helps out. They use local and U.S. suppliers when possible, recycle, support Work At Home Mom retailers, and guaranty their products. In addition, they create a pleasant work environment with fair pay, personnel policies, paid vacation, excellent equipment, air conditioning, and natural sunlight.

Northern Essence
Northern Essence makes bath and body products, along with our foaming baby wipes solution. Northern Essence is owned and operated by two proud Work At Home Moms: Traci, who has five children, and Shelly who has 4 boys.

Stacinator and Happy Heiny's
Linda is a Work At Home Mom to three kids, ages 7, 5, and 2 1/2 and places her family first, diapers second. She started Happy Heiny's after having difficulty finding diapers that wouldn't leave read marks on her baby's thighs. Right now there are three women who do the sewing. She has been able to keep the business in the family, which allows her younger children to stay at home with her. She "sews all night so we can be with our kids during the day".

Under The Nile
Under the Nile grows only organic cotton and practices fairness towards all people involved in the entire production chain. A fair price is paid to the cotton growers and a just wage to all Under the Nile workers. The farm is located in the delta of Egypt and the community is based on healthy living for both the workers and the environment. On the premises there is a schoolhouse for the workers' children, a health care center, a vocational training center, and an Academy for the Applied Arts. The working conditions include open space, light, air, and exercise activities during the day, with organic meals served to all workers.
