Is this program for me?
If you are considering cloth diapers, whether it be to save money, for your baby's health, or to help conserve the
environment, you should try this program! There are many different cloth diapers available today, and it quickly
becomes overwhelming trying to find the best system for you and your baby. Reading about cloth diapers is
difficult, and it is much easier to make an informed decision after you have seen all your options in person. This
program lets you try all the different options while deciding whether you mind the extra work of caring for cloth
diapers - without an initial investment. In the end, if you decide cloth diapers aren't for you, you can say you tried!
Are there enough diapers to cloth diaper full-time?
This program includes 7 diapers, which is not enough to cloth diaper full-time, unless the diapers are washed
twice a day (which many of our customers do for just the 21-day trial period). Newborns need approximately 18-24
diapers and older babies need 12 diapers. To see how many diapers you will need to cloth diaper full-time, see
our cloth diaper tutorial here. However, there are enough diapers to get a great idea of what cloth diapering full-
time will be like.
How is the refund issued?
We issue the refund in the original form of payment instead of a store credit! If you paid with a credit card, your
credit card will be refunded. If you paid with PayPal, your PayPal account will be refunded. If you prefer a store
credit instead of a refund, just let us know on the Return Form when you mail the diapers back to us.
We're expecting. Can the 21-day trial period be extended?
Of course! Just order this trial program up to two months before your due date (be sure to enter your due date in
the comments section at checkout if this is the case). The diapers must be used for a total of less than 21 days.
So feel free to order this package deal now, prewash the diapers so you're all set for your new baby, and then try
them out for 21 days after your baby is born. We know that babies come a few weeks before or after their due
date, so you may end up returning the diapers a few weeks before your due date or a several weeks after. Just
use the diapers for 21 days or less. And be sure to order the "6-9 lbs./Newborn" size. Even if your baby is 10 or 11
lbs., these size diapers will still fit!
How is the Newborn Package different from the larger sizes?
We have replaced the Fuzzi Bunz with Size 0 Kissaluvs. Kissaluvs are a favorite newborn diaper (a favorite of ours
and our customers, alike)! Fuzzi Bunz are great diapers, but Kissaluvs are more leak-proof and better fitting for the
newborn stage.
What condition will the diapers be in when I receive them?
Brand new! This means that everything will need to be washed 1-3 times before using.
Why don't I just use a diaper service to try cloth diapers?
Diaper services typically use only prefolds and industrial type covers, such as a Prorap. Cloth diapers have come
so far, it really is worth it to try a nice, snug fitted diaper like a Kissaluv, or a pocket diaper, like a Fuzzi Bunz, which
leaves your baby's skin dry.
What if I return the diapers stained?
We completely understand that diapers can become stained! You will not be charged for any stained diapers. To
minimize staining, we recommend rinsing soiled diapers off immediately and keeping them wet (in a diaper pail)
until wash day.
What if my dog eats a diaper?
If you lose or damage a diaper, then you will be responsible for the replacement cost. You are not responsible for
manufacturing defects, like snaps falling off, unravelling seams, etc.
How much is shipping?
Shipping the diapers to you costs $11.95. You are responsible for shipping the diapers back to us, and you may
use the least expensive shipping method available to you. USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box would be $9.80 from
anywhere in the United States. We strongly recommend insuring your package, as we are not responsible for lost
packages.
I live in Canada. How much is shipping?
The original shipping cost to Canada is $27.00 as of August 2007 (remember, we ship only via Express Mail,
which takes about 3-4 business days to Canada, is completely trackable AND insured). On your next order,
instead of Free Shipping you will receive $11.95 (the maximum discount a US customer would receive towards
shipping) off our standard international shipping fees. For example, if your first order comes to $175.00 before
shipping, your shipping fee would be $33.00 - $11.95, which is $21.05. Please contact us if you have any
questions!
How do I wash the diapers?
We will include washing instructions with the diapers, but it is very simple:
• One cold rinse. Do not add detergent. Use the highest water level setting.
• One warm (or hot) wash with 1/3 cup detergent. Never use fabric softener, bleach, or Free and Clear detergents.
• Dry in your dryer or hang-dry, or a combination of both.
What if I want to keep the diapers?
Great! No problem! If you want to keep the diapers, you will not be charged the $10 trial fee. In fact, you will get
$10.00 off the whole package! We will refund your credit card or PayPal, or give you a store credit for your first
order, if you prefer. Just send an e-mail to let us know. In addition, you will receive Free Shipping on your first
order! Can it get any better than that?
What if I want to keep only one or two diapers?
Then just let us know before you ship the diapers back! Your deposit will be adjusted accordingly. You will still be
charged the $10 trial fee, but you will also still receive Free Shipping on your first order.
What sizes are available?
Any baby between 6-30 lbs can try cloth diapers through our program! If you have a newborn, this is the perfect
time to try cloth diapers.
What if I have questions after I receive the cloth diapers?
Don't worry, we are here to help! Just call us using our toll-free number or send us an e-mail. We will respond
promptly so that you can get your questions answered. We will include washing instructions./
